Who may use FILE READY

Accounts are invite-only. You are responsible for your sign-in credentials and for everything done under your account. Do not share your password or your two-factor codes. Administrators may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

What belongs here

Files are tracked by the Participant ID label from CVR Tracker, a generated file reference, and numbered household members. Names, SSNs, birth dates, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, account numbers, EIV contents, document images, and other tenant information never go in this app. Entries that match those patterns are blocked, and administrators may remove anything that breaks this rule.

What FILE READY is, and is not

FILE READY is a checklist, tracking, and training tool. It does not make eligibility, rent, subsidy, or compliance determinations. The processor and the PHA remain responsible for every determination. Checklist guidance summarizes procedures; it does not replace HUD or CHA policy, the current advisories, or your supervisor's direction. If guidance here and an official source disagree, the official source governs.

Training

Training mode and the practice file use fictional data only. Nothing entered in training touches production files, and nothing from production belongs in training.

Records of use

Sign-ins and changes are written to an audit log so the work can be reviewed. Use of the app means accepting that record-keeping.

Changes

The app and these terms may be updated. Continuing to use the app after an update means accepting the current terms.
